TT Sports and Prestige are joint Controller’s of your data alongside GForces Web Management Limited. We take the security of your data very seriously and strictly adhere to the United Kingdom Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 last updated April 2019.

We will only process the information for the purpose it has been collected

Online Vehicle Enquiries

When you enquire about one of our vehicles, we will require your email, name, address and contact telephone number so that we can respond to your enquiry. If you do not purchase a vehicle we will keep this information for 12 months after your initial enquiry.


Showroom Vehicle Enquiries

If you take one of our vehicles on a test drive then we will require a copy of your driving licence which we will keep for 12 months in case of speeding, parking or any other motoring offence.


Vehicle Purchase

If you decide to purchase a vehicle from us, at the point of sale under a Contractual Obligation we will obtain your full name, address, contact number, details of the vehicle you are buying and, if applicable, details of the vehicle you will be using as a part exchange. This information will be kept for 7 years and will not be used for marketing purposes unless you provide consent for us to do so.



If you require finance to purchase your vehicle we will require further information to pass to our Finance Partners, including marital Status, Date of Birth, housing status, address history ,home and work telephone contact number, employment history

number of dependents, and any other relevant information to process your request.

Your personal data will be stored for 7 years.


When you sell your car to us

If we purchase a car from you we will need to see proof of ownership V5 registration Document and photo driving licence matching the Registration Document, i.e name, address plus a contact telephone number, proof that sellers bank details match ownership of vehicle details and Finance settlement details if required.



When visiting our garage we operate CCTV, therefore your image may be captured and stored for 12 months.

If you call TT Sports and Prestige your call may be recorded and retained for 12 months. The recording will be used for quality, monitoring and training purposes.

If you email TT Sports and Prestige your email's will be kept for 12 months.

If you are accepted for finance, the finance company with become the data controller for your information and we recommend that you read their privacy policy to see how they will use your data.
  • If you purchase a Warranty we will disclose your information to our Warranty partners. If you decide to purchase a Warranty with them they will act as a Data Processor on our behalf.

Access to your Information – (Subject Access Requests)

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you (this is called a Subject Access Report) by emailing or writing to us, or by visiting our Marketing Preference Centre on our website. This will be provided in a readable format (CSV) free of charge. We may not provide you with a copy of your information if this includes other individuals or we have another lawful reason to withhold that information.

Correcting and updating your Personal Information

The accuracy of your information is important to us and we are working on ways to make it easier for you to review and correct the information we hold about you.
